BBQ Cauliflower

The Super-bowl isn’t the only time to eat wings… today’s simple series recipe is BBQ Cauliflower Wings! Vegetarian, fast, easy, and they taste great too 😃

Ingredients:
1 medium head of cauliflower
3/4 cup of flour (any kind)
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup milk (any kind- soy or cashew to make vegan)
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup panko breadcrumbs seasoned with salt & pepper
1 1/2 cups of Southern Belles BBQ Sauce (we recommend Original Belle or Southern Heat)

Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
2. Line a baking sheet with greased foil
3. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces
4. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, cornstarch, milk, sea salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. ** tip: if the batter is too thick, add more milk to thin it out!
5. Place the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl
6. Toss the cauliflower in the batter using a spatula or a spoon, and then coat completely with breadcrumbs
7. Place the coated cauliflower on the baking sheet and bake for 22 minutes
8. While baking, heat up your Southern Belles BBQ Sauce on the stove
9. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss them in the heated up sauce OR brush the sauce onto the cauliflower
10. Bake them for another 5 minutes in the oven until the sauce is soaked into the cauliflower.
11. Enjoy!
